If you are in the community, you need to pay for an OT assessment yourself. You are able to subsidise an OT assessment following a GP 'Referral for Allied Health Services under Medicare for a Chronic Medical Condition'. These are 5 appointments in a calendar year. These can be bulk billed although a gap fee will be at the discretion of the OT.
